Hello guys! It have been quite some time since I wrote anything about fashions, especially Mens Fashion. So I thought, why not take this opportunity to share the latest Black Barrett A/W 15 collection launch with you guys. The ‘in-store’ event which which is located at Paragon Orchard, was also covered by Mens Folio.
A little introduction about Black Barrett if you have yet to know the designer yet. Black Barrett by Neil Barrett is Neil Barrett’s second line collection and is an extension of his main line design concept. Black Barrett carries all of Neil Barrett’s trademark mainline fits, offering a complete wardrobe from an accessible price point. Black Barrett which is also exclusive to Asia currently only have one store in Singapore.
The A/W collection has recreated traditional winter wear with a new and younger energy. Knitwear becomes a large element to the collection for the first time, with double faced graphic jacquards and felted blocking. There is also a focus on multi-functionality which includes reversible outerwear and detachable elements with hybrid detailing. The A/W collection have brought life to to the traditional winter wear with its Bold Lines, paneling and stitching. With distinct graphics such as the V and the W, the mountain graphic creates a very strong break in the silhouette and merges with the fair-isle within a tri-colour cut and sew story – the key to Black Barrett’s DNA if you have not already realised.
The A/W 15 collections also expands on popular graphic stories such as the oversized ’01’ and the capsule collection of bold skull prints and abstract camouflage making it more accessible and fluid in marketing transition through the seasons.
