Welcoming the year of the Goat, I would like to extend my well wishes to all my Chinese readers and friends, may you have a very happy and prosperous new year.
So this year we celebrate our Lunar New Year out of town. This iconic label have been here for almost 15 years and not new to most of us and yet we have no idea this that this piece of hidden gem is located right in the heart of the Golden Triangle District in Kuala Lumpur. The Ritz Carlton, Kuala Lumpur, a brand definitely familiar to many for its luxurious accommodation and services.

The Ritz Carlton is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, tucked away discreetly in the junction between Jalan Imbi and Jalan Yap Tai Chi. An approximately 5 minutes walk away from the well known shopping mall, Pavilion and Starhill Gallery, you can be sure you are always minutes away from all your necessities. The hotel features 365 guest rooms, including 30 One-bedroom suites, 4 amazing restaurants, 24 hours fitness center, a fully equipped spa village, 25 meeting rooms to meet your business needs and of course two swimming pools including an indoor jacuzzi and other standard hotel facilities including the lobby lounge and full valet service.
Let’s begin from the guest rooms. With superb views from any direction, you don’t have to worry about getting a blocked view, and I am very sure if you are not satisfied with your view, a room switch can be arranged whenever possible. With amazingly large rooms with 40sqm being the smallest guest room stretching up to 250sqm for the largest suite, space is never an issue. It is so huge, it spans up to three floors. It’s definitely a home for the A-listers. I managed to get a preview the Ritz Carlton suite (a one bedroom duplex suite) and the Triplex Penthouse (a five bedroom with fully equipped home amenities and its own pool). The remarkably expansive window panes brings in large amount of natural light making it look like a piece of art by itself. Every guest rooms also comes with complete with at least 400 thread count fine linen for an ultimate comfort and rest and if that is not enough, a range of exclusive Asprey bath amenities along side a deep soaking tub with natural bath salt body scrub to top it off. That explains the Bath Butler & Bath Menu services to unwind after a tiring day out.
Which reminds me, every room also comes with a dedicated butler. Upon arrival, your dedicated butler will give you a detailed presentation of the hotel and its facilities, along with the various guest services provided so you may have a better understanding of your choices. Some of these include a 24-hour in-room dining and complimentary morning news paper. The butler is also able to make any travel arrangements during your stay, as well as accommodate any dietary requirements, housekeeping needs and other special requests that you may have. It is as amazing as having your own house maid, now that’s a way to sit back and relax and not lift a finger.
For your ultimate dining experience, the César’s luxe-elegant restaurant offers daily breakfasts from around the world, using only the freshest ingredients.
