Alhamdulillah, all praises to Allah.
This is officially my delayed first post for 2015
2014 have been quite a journey, one that will forever be in my memory. There is so much ups and downs going on in a year. So much emotional moments to remember, some dark and some light days to recall. No matter what the event, 2014 made me a stronger man and that I feel so much in debt to Him for giving me the strength to guide me through the instabilities in my life. For everyone who had my back in times of need, I have never felt so thankful in my life to have all of you as my friends. I will not go into the details of all that, you can refer to my old posts, I am sure I’ve written about it somewhere.
So here comes 2015. What are my plans? What is my new year resolutions you may ask. Well here you go, a jist of what I intend to achieve by 2016. As you know, I have successfully launched this website late last year, This year, I intend to write more frequently in a more generic manner. Much of what I write revolves around me and my daily life. This time around, I am doing my best to get the ball rolling and work with several notable people to feature products, spaces and event. Most of it is still in the planning stage. Therefore, I really hope that I will be able the pull this through by the end of this year!
My career have been my priority over the past year and I am sure it still is, Working in this amazing company, even though it is quite stressful, it have been quite a journey for me with a whole lot of opportunities for me. This year, I intend to successfully finish at least one full (small) hotel joint in Saudi Arabia and hopefully get to take another step and do a bigger one after. The Hotel launch due in July – which I will later tell you more about closer to the date, is indeed my first project in this industry. So do share your prayers for me, I really hope its a success. While then, I might still consider going to school, but as for now, that is my least priority. I will try to make a decision by the end of the year – I am still quite torn between a business degree and a architectural degree. Hopefully, I will get the answers by the end of this year.
Apart from that, I do intent to go on another great adventure. Planning for my next big trip will begin really soon. As you might already have known, I celebrated my new year in Dubai. It was such an amazing experience dining my the Dubai Fountain and watching over the entire Burj Khalifa – The tallest building in the world, tallest free standing structure in the world, highest number of stories in the world, highest occupied floor in the world, highest outdoor observation deck in the world, elevator with longest travel distance in the world and tallest service elevator in the world. What more can you ask more, its really a man made marvel. I will also write about my Dubai trip in portions as there is so much information to sift through. So do give me some time to get it right and promise me you will keep a lookout for it!
