It have been quite a while since I actually sit and spend some time to write but that is only because I have been only all over the place finding for new inspirations to share with you and at the same time, find the true meaning of my life. Sounds a little deep but it is in fact the truth. I have been out and about and finally did my impulsive solo trip. Even though it was short, it was extremely impactful and i would totally do it again.
But ofcourse any impulsive trip would actually have a base reason and that is to support my dear friend, Qudyn Aziz, one of the leading fashion designer in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This time it was a collaborative event by The Wedding KL, and as the name suggest, it is obviously a bridal collection. I am not sure when it will be my day to get one of there for my future bride, but why not start now.
The event held at Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur over a span of three days amongst many other designers was quite a spectacle. the event is pretty much the event of the season and that many celebrities – married and single are spotted during the event. I obviously did not want to be in the spotlight did not stay make that my choice of accommodation, although it would have been a lot less dreadful for me and my feet munching footwear. Nonetheless, I was staying over at my ‘usual place’ where everything else – other than attending the event, was easier.
Before I start sharing some of the runway looks, I would like to say a big thank you to Qudyn’s organising team which includes Faridz Ridzuan and Yusfariq Iqmal who actually moved me to front row. As much as I was honoured to be in front row, I was obviously nervous to be seen in the same row as these people below.
Well lets head to the runway looks now. I know I have passed the stage where taking photos of all the looks was crucial. Now I only do that to selective looks and ofcourse the finale look whole i enjoy the rest of the show. So those photos that I took are obviously some of my favourites and you can see the rest of the looks in the latter part of this post.
