It have been quite some time since I treat myself to a spa treatment. Not that I don’t enjoy it, I just never seem to have the time for all that pampering. So this time, my sister forced me into this as she never went for a spa treatment before and I thought what better time to do it since we are all in Kuala Lumpur. I am not really into these expensive spas but St. Gregory at PARKROYAL Kuala Lumpur got my attention with their perfectly rather reasonable price.
Just a little bit you need to know about St. Gregory Spa, it is a Singapore brand and have several branches around Asia including local in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur (the spa boutique I went to), China and Vietnam. They specialize in a wide range of face and body treatments and with the healing hands of their therapists, they will bring you into the state of ultimate relaxation and pampering, ideal for your mind and body.
You can also experience traditional healing therapies including Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Javanese and Thai, each with its own philosophy of relieving physical ailments and improving your overall wellbeing. St. Gregory’s traditional therapies are performed by therapists recruited from the countries of origin to deliver the best in authenticity and quality. Hence the many awards they have received with the most recent being St. Gregory’s Aromatic Body Bliss Massage at PARKROYAL Kuala Lumpur who won the ‘Most Blissful Body Treatment’ at the Harper’s Bazaar Spa Awards (Malaysia).
It was really a good place to take a break from the hectic pace of life and retreat into the tranquil environment at St. Gregory. For a few precious moments, I feel like the world is behind me, my energy revitalized and restored, and step out filled with a lightness of being. Of course, in the comfort and privacy of my own room complete with shower and the serene sound of trickling water from the fountain in every room.
So there you go, our happy and refreshed faces after the treatment feeling smooth and revitalized. I would definitely go there again and try those spa boutiques perhaps in Singapore next, when I have the time that is.
